Friends of the
Rappahannock County Library

We provide additional financial support to our library.

The Friends of the Rappahannock County Library is a volunteer organization that supports our library with financial assistance to purchase items such as computers and fund youth programs and the summer reading program.

Programs we support

  • Summer reading programs

    The Friends contribute every year to the youth program and the adult one alongside it.

  • Basic Computer Help

    The Friends fully fund a weekly assistant who sits down one-on-one with patrons and helps with their devices.

  • Community appreciation event

    The Friends contribute toward the food.

And others, through the year.

The Book Barn

Please visit the Book Barn next to the library on Saturdays from 10 AM to 2 PM. Shop used books, audiobooks, CDs, DVDs, puzzles, a rack of historic Rappahannock County maps, and more. Every item is donated. Every dollar goes back to the library.
